Experiment at Ocha Univ.

I had an opportunity to conduct an experiment in a university laboratory. The facility that I used was a SQUID magnetometer, which measures the magnetic susceptibility, or the amount of magnetization in the direction of the magnetic field created by a superconducting magnet. I set up a single-crystal sample in the facility and run many macros to measure the temperature dependences of magnetization by changing the magnitude of the magnetic field and the conditions of the cooling process.

Before I performed the experiment, I had believed that it must be very-very difficult to conduct the experiment, but when I actually tried it, I found it to be surprisingly simple.
